About us
Located in England's smallest county of Rutland, The Furrows Petal Confetti & Favours is a small family run business on the outskirts of Exton. A small village steeped in farming and architectural history. Once a pig paddock, set on the edge of an historic ridge and furrow field, The Furrows is now an idyllic walled garden.
Here at The Furrows, working hard to produce sustainable, environmentally friendly, low carbon footprint confetti is paramount. Founded and run by head petal grower, Lorraine, our small team of family members strive to produce beautiful, high quality, fragrant, natural petal confetti.
Talented family member, and chocolatier, Samantha, heads the wedding favours side of the business. Using the finest ethically sourced ingredients, favours are handcrafted and produced here at the furrows.
Our confetti
All our confetti is grown here, by us, in the village, nothing is imported. This does mean some of our petals are seasonal and not available all year round.
We never use pesticides or herbicides. We strive to be as environmentally friendly as possible.
Before harvesting, we leave our flowers growing long enough for bees, butterflies, and other insects to benefit.
As a small business no machinery is used to harvest our petals, it's all done by hand.
No energy hungry kilns are used to dry our petals. They are all air dried using natural ventilation techniques.
We never spray our confetti petals with preservatives, it's all completely clean and natural.
